For the record, I don't support "regular public" campsites at Quartz. I was only referring to the idea of a few scattered primitive sites. I had heard the topic mentioned at the fall gathering and was wondering what had become of the idea. That is what I was inquiring about. Primitive camping at Quartz was always a part of the experience back when it was privately owned. So it would not be a change of the "history of Quartz" and how the place was used.
