TM, the approved or unapproved talk refers not to a bolting committee but to the traditional method of asking the first ascentionist what he would like done. This is all I was referring to.
I agree about the meetings being the best place for decisions, I just don't see why we can't use this board to help educate people who will not be at the meetings on the nuances of the issues.
The more people who understand the arguements will only help us gain the support needed to enforce the decisions.
