If we are going to pull bolts on routes at Quartz we can start with Monkey on a Football. The route was always an intro to unprotected 5.5 climbing/scrambling at Quartz. In my opinion clipping bolts on Monkey On a Football does very little to get you ready for Snakeshead because there is no pro on Snakeshead. If we want to restore Quartz to it's orignal state then all bolts on routes that did not have them before are up for consideratrion not just those deemed unauthorized. Anorexia had bolts chopped they should probably go back in shouldn't they? The route could very well be Oklahoma's first 5.14! There are lots of things to consider before we decide on what to do at Quartz. All of us have opinions about what we think is the right direction for Quartz. Having a meeting on said issues will be a positive step.
